….the party is over: log analysis

CQ WW SSB 2010 is over, the party is over. After 48 hours screw up over the DVK and the microphone, pumping out the 1KW amplifier, rotate manually (indeed, thanks to YC2PQW)  the beam,  now time to just wait; but analysing the log is more important to review the performance.

Here we go. Thanks to SH5 Log Analyzer tools.

Top Ten QSO by Countries

The chart above show that JA’s is the number one country on top ten. Followed by United State and China, the rest is Europe include Ukraine, and thank God that the down under, VK’s are also on top-ten.

Distribution by number of Bands

YE2R seems powerful on 15m band, but much worse on 20m. We’ve spied YE0X (sorry guys), another YB-land contester on same category M2, have marvelous performance on high band (15m and 20m). So something wrong with high band system antenna on YE2R! YB2DX should make another alignment to the next event.  Luckily we have good performance on the low band (40m and 80m), comparing to YE0X. 160m? wow, seems like a dead band on YE2R!

Distribution Hour Rate

Here we’re go, the spirit and endurance the men/woman behind the YE2R team. At the beginning we reached up to 211 Q’s/hr and see at the edge of the contest periode, we pushed to the limit on 20m and 15 and reached at 117 Q’s/s. The bottom line is arround 16Z-20Z; next we should arrange the good strategy to gain on this portion time.

How about the statistics? hi hi… wait for a minutes guys! We have maintain checked and re-checket to gain the ‘golden logs’, but I believe it’s so hard. Last year record the UBN reports was not satistfied. So we must perform analyzing the log. Wait for next post! Stay tuned!
